Artist

A London-based illustrator producing colourful cartoons. Always cheeky and at times moderately offensive but guaranteed to make you smile...
About Me

Bryony Jackson Walters

Illustrator

I was born with a pencil in my hand (poor mum) and drawing continues to be my passion, whether it be a technical storyboard or a caricature of a cat.

My mother was a graphic designer for Revlon and my father was JAK, the Evening Standard’s political cartoonist so I was never going to become an accountant or anything sensible.

Portfolio

Card designs

A collection of my most colourful card designs, from the cute and heartfelt to the bad-taste and borderline x-rated. Characters are based on real people – apologies if you recognise yourself!

Illustrations

A random selection of drawings and paintings which I’ve created over the years and hopefully show my eclectic style. WARNING: naked boobs on show!

Strips

A few examples of my cartoons strips. ‘Modcop’ featured monthly in GQ Magazine, successfully offending the country’s sartorially challenged – he is now retired and wears nothing but flannel.

Storyboards

Some pages from my days as a storyboard artist. A more technical (and usually less silly) version of a strip cartoon where you translate a film script into a sequence of drawings.

Una Ware

A love story that I imagined and illustrated in memory of Lucky, who was my light in the darkness. RIP my little guy!
