About Me

I was born with a pencil in my hand (poor mum) and drawing continues to be my passion, whether it be a technical storyboard or a caricature of a cat.

My mother was a graphic designer for Revlon and my father was JAK, the Evening Standard’s political cartoonist so I was never going to become an accountant or anything sensible.

I started as a fashion illustrator for a clothes company supplying Topshop and H&M before I decided to ditch the day job in favour of three years at drama school. My aim of becoming a hugely celebrated actress thwarted by my prominent nose and lazy eye, I returned to my first love; art.

I enrolled on the ‘Storyboarding for Film and TV’ course at Central St Martins then landed my first proper gig was as a Storyboard and Concept Artist for the BBC Drama Department, working on a variety of in-house productions. I stayed in this role for several years and from there, worked on numerous independent film and tv productions, as well as advertising for companies such as Snowqueen Vodka and Bacardi.

Alongside the film and TV work, I have created a number of cartoon strips (Modcop was a monthly feature in GQ Magazine), I’ve illustrated books, produced cartoons and generated artwork for a long list of clients.

I now spend much of my time designing rather naughty greeting cards which are sold across the world (some as far as Australia, where they’re known for having a filthy sense of humour).

I live in Battersea with my young son who only likes drawings of monster trucks.
